In my 2002 Silvy, somewhere down the line I want to start giving my interior a facelift. Along with a new aftermarket head unit I would like a new steering wheel.
Is it feasible to swap out for one with radio and volume controls(and cruise if possible) with just pluging the wiring harness in at the base?
If so what year and model of Chevy should I be looking at?
I know u have to have a compatable head unit I just don't know how big of a PITA to do this (if it can even be done) and if all the wires run down the steering column and then split for horn, cruise and so on from one single plug. If all this can be done I would then obviously want a different turn signal arm with no cruise.
Thanks in advance.
