Sorry, but I can't help thinking that you Chevy guys would have a WHOLE DIFFERENT ATTITUDE if that was a nice, late model Tahoe or a Silverado getting fWONked up by a ratty old Jeep or Toyota..

Even if I went somewhere that claimed to be "no holds barred racing," I wouldn't think WRECKING each other would be part of what was considered "acceptable" behavior.. :dunno:

Not sure what you mean by this, but I would surely be pissed if he rammed me.

What is this "you Chevy guys" stuff? I was not raggin' on the Jeep at all. I just would not have been in that situation with any vehicle I owned.

I don't understand your post, Michael.

I did an image.google search for Autobahn Aurora. They look the same :dunno:

Gearing is changed from 3.48 to 3.71 and ECM is tuned a little differently.

Easiest way to tell is driving it and if it goes faster than 110 mph. Its a Autobahn.

I watched tons of these type races. 9 times out of 12 there is some type of contact...

I think it was more like 3 times out of 4.

Could be... But I watched a ton of videos from my old track up north... They don't rub as much.

He's alluding to the fact that some people would be upset if it was a brand new Tahoe or something similar instead of talking down on the shiney vehicle driver...

Myself, I see that as part of racing, and should've been expected, granted, that it was a little overkill... But it's not like buddy didn't know it was going to happen

Yeah... It seemed like most of the "that guy was an idiot for taking such a nice vehicle" replies in this thread were from GM owners. I somehow doubt that most of the replies would've had that sentiment a) if the truck that got roughed up was a lot more like your own vehicle and b) if the truck that did the roughing up was a brand you didn't like... or some "rice mobile."

That's all I was getting at..
