Smoked or Chrome?

As you know, I have a chrome bug guard on there now, but I think I may ditch it. If I do, I would most likely get a smoked one instead. I know some will say leave 'em off all together, but I already have a rock chip on the front of the hood from before I had the bug guard put on. So, what are your thoughts?

I don't have one on mine but if I did it would be painted to match my truck so it would be invisible BUT still protect my hood.

The only problem is I don't feel like paying upwards of $120 to do that though :dunno:

Well look at it this way... You about spent that much if you get rid of the Chrome to get the smoked.. So if you want a color matching one thats what I would do!

Should be able to get the one you have painted for 50 bucks.

I have a buddy who will buy the chrome one for what a smoked one costs.

Got any body shop buddies? How about a production shop? The chrome shield is really just plastic... and can be painted.
