At least the backup sensors work "by that certain US manufacturer" and the view on the backup camera is wide enough that you're not going to NOT SEE something behind you "if it's off to the side a little." (IF you're actually paying attention) :lol:

Backup cameras should be disabled by the dealership until you can prove that you know how to use the mirrors on a vehicle. [emoji38]

I still only use my cam to hook up the trailer. I am old. I keep forgetting it's there

Same here, plus the back up camera gives you no bearing what the distance might be on the outside ends of your bumper and an object. If you are turning, you might have 2 feet from your hitch to the wall but your bumper might already be touching.
