A PDR guy might be able to fix that hail looking damage from the wood that came off of the Lowes truck.
Sorry your accident but next time, don't blame it on the tool box when you have a passenger side mirror that you are at least supposed to check at least a few times while backing up... Acting like a dude with tourrette's and frequenting your mirrors while backing up will you save you money and aggravation.
I only use the back glass to verify that no other car is coming from any direction before backing up and check it along with my mirrors until I'm ready for forward motion.
You said the backup sensors never went off. I could be wrong, but it looks like the sensor in your picture may have tape over it?
Also, if you had bought a new Silverado to begin with, it would've come with backup sensors, a backup camera, etc..
I got the back up camera. She just wasn't in it. And there's no tape. They all work for the most part.

They obviously don't work VERY well or they would've gone off before you hit her.
See attached. It looks like a piece of tape to me, like they're keeping a sensor from activating and throwing a code.
It sounds like the car was a little off on the side, some don't have very good coverage once things aren't directly behind them.
Also, that's just how Nissan's sensors look.
