With the coil suspension I have heard the rams should be riding a bit better.

My guy had 2 Magnaflow 12479s installed on his 2010 Hemi, with dual pipes out the ass, he says the drone is horrible! I will get to experience this first hand tomorrow, I am going to help him out with some ideas. Just thought I would pass this on to you Wayne!

I have noticed that confusion with the trans myself. And the steering is a lot tighter than my '06, I tend to wander all over the road more in the '11 than I would in the '06.

Glad you are happy with the Hemi.

Huh?? I have been away for too long  Ya bought a new truck and i never knew it

I want to drive a Chevy with the 6.2/6spd and the new RAM with the 5.7 :quote:Hemi:quote:

I think both would be fun! :wookie:

At least on paper, this would be a much more even match up. I haven't ever driven a GM 6.2, so I don't know how it would compare, but probably much closer if not somewhat better power-wise.

That is good to know. I don't know if/how much I will mess with the exhaust on this one. I had a Magnaflow on my Silverado 2500 and it sounded great with no drone to speak of. I have heard that these new HEMI's are kind of "picky" with exhausts that don't drone or sound bad when the MDS kicks in, so I am undecided.

The new Ram is my first choice if I had to replace my truck...HEMI and loaded.

So much for me being a "fanboy"...

I've heard nothing but good about the aero turbine 3030 on the hemi's. I think that's the dodge boys version of a magnaflow.

My Ram was an 08 so it was still the other body style and didn't have coils all around but it rode like a lumber wagon, glad to hear they got that taken care of now. Seems like chevy went the other way, I think my 97 on torsion bars rode better than my new truck with the coils. Ride still feels great, more like a car than a truck really just not as good as my older truck.

I have to agree the hemi power is insane, my truck can't hold a candle to what the hemi could do and I think the newer ones have quite a bit more power than the 08 had.

P.S. A diablosport predator can turn off the MDS system and a few guys ended up getting better mileage with it disabled. That was on the Gen III's not sure if MDS works any better on the new ones.
