Idk how independant the testing was since gm paid them.

I have a hard time believing that AMCI would put their 30 year reputation in the field of independent automotive testing on the line for something so petty.

They have been commissioned by every major auto maker at one time or another because they are the real deal.

I didn't like the way they casually let the Cummins slide out of most of those tests. I would like to see the results even if it won...

I read (but have not confirmed) that a POSSIBLE reason as to why the Ram was left out, is because of it's substantially lower payload and towing ratings. Essentially, you can't safely load the Ram they had at the time of the unbiased and independent tests to the same level as the Chevy and Ford.

I don't think that's legit except for the test when they added 21xxx pound. I think the ram was for just under 12...

I agree. Just because GM is the instigator of the test, it didnt mean the company favored them. can't really argue real world testing. I am sure ford or dodge will get their own independent tests soon and they will loook good in them. I actually like this video
