And to think...that is WORSE looking than the chrome model. It's sad to watch the downward spiral of Ford's styling since 2006. Here is how the Super Duty fell into the ugly well:

I absolutely LOVE that blue one I posted. It's stunning.

As for the current front end, I believe insiders at Ford call it the "we have no design talent anymore" look...

Just got the new Four Wheeler magazine, and they had another INDEPENDENT test with all three manufacturers involved (3/4 ton Crew Cab 4x4 diesels), and guess what......their results were different. Ford 6.7 - 1st, Ram 6.7 - 2nd, GMC 6.6 - 3rd. The test included towing identical toy hauler campers up and down steep grades, unloaded highway driving, and offroad driving. So, I guess it all comes down to what you are wanting out of the trucks as to which one will come out on top in any given comparison.

I looked for a link, but don't see the story online yet.......if you want to read it, pick up the new magazine, I guess.

They could go to any elementary school and get a totally new design that would probably look good.

Personally I like the style of my truck and the mid 90s Fords. Those trucks were not huge like the ones now but they still got the job done. I think Ford made them taller, wider and bulkier to help people with little-mans syndrome. The other brands saw the sales reports and followed the trend. A buddy of mine has a little '05 colorado that I kinda like too.

Let's all be adults here. These tests are always skewed a little based on where the money comes from. The "results" can be slanted in many ways because these trucks all perform pretty close to the same. There are of course subtle differences between them, but the modern HD truck is very capable... no matter the brand.
