I'll expound on what Brian said..

Start charging 'em STORAGE fee! Send them a bill for storage and back date it. Give them a due date and threaten late fees. If they don't pay up OR transfer the title, you'll have it impounded.

Maybe that'll motivate 'em! :thumbs:

I believe that they already owe him money now. A few more $$$ on a car may not make any difference to his sister-in-law.

Yeah, but that makes it more legal,not a bad idea...

Check into putting a lien on it for money owed. You may be able to acquire a title that way.

And like Ken mentioned you can file a Mechanics lean on their house or any of their vehicles. If the pay either of them off and try to obtain the deed or title they would have to pay you or provide you the title before they could obtain the title that they desire.
