So I set up a mousetrap in the engine compartment, I bet I find something tomorrow morning.
Sanded down the cradle with an orbital sander, then tried some citrus stripper(didn't feel like messing with the toxic stuff), which did absolutely nothing, even though I brushed it on thick and let it sit for almost 2 hours. So I thought to myself, okay, enough screwing around, so I brought out my angle grinder and got most of what paint was left. The little paint left left can be blasted by my powdercoater since he has to blast the whole thing anyway to get an even blasted surface for the powder. Glad I went the extra mile on this, should look sweet pcoated in the silver vein.
nice to see your getting back to your old faithful project. your saturn needs some good TLC and from the parts i have seen its getting a good quality TLC.
Thanks Geoff, hopefully it will be on the road before too long. I just keep making other improvements, replacing the engine cradle was never in the plans.
