I worry about water in the hub assemble. I never go in water that is deep enough to touch my lug nuts.

Now the farm truck....as long as it runs, its not that deep. I have taken it in water deep enough to touch the bottom of the mirrors, and havent had a problem. :fingersx:

Oh yeah, there would probably be another vehicle going, a VW Touareg or a SUV-wanna be Jeep thingy (no way am I gonna try to fit 6 people and 3 dogs in my truck). I'll be sure and post vids/pics of me pulling them up/off rocks...should be entertaining.
You mean a Subaru

Nope, its a jeep, just one of those that is only jeep by name, not function...

I hope it's not a Patriot or Compass...you know one of the FWD one's that're based off the Dodge Caliber.

Thats it!! I couldn't for the life of me remember, but yeah, that'd be the one.

sounds like a good time!! ive had my truck halfway up the doors without a problem, granted i wasnt there for long and it was more mud than just water but still..

have fun :D

It should be. I've always enjoyed going up the mountain, just never took the truck since it was always just a day trip. Camping there should be interesting, with the elk, big horn sheep, bears, and mountain lions...

Holy shit! What are they thinking!?!? I was being sarcastic when I listed the Caliber based Jeeps. I don't see it clearing the river. Reminds me of when one of my friends tried to get his civic down to a camping spot after already knowing my truck bottomed out going over a big bump right off the main road up there. Suffice to say...his bumper drug immediately and he left it next to the road all weekend.

Shouldn't have to worry too much about wild life with dogs. Their scent will scare off most animals.

It all depends on who all goes. Right now its me, the wife, her sister and brother-in-law. His brother and the brother's girlfriend might go, in which case they would bring the "jeep". Otherwise they would bring the VW Touareg...neither one would do well in the river...

I need a bigger truck, but there is no way I would try to take a 4 door truck up the trail.
