I've contemplated the same thing and i've decided to keep my truck and mod it. Think about it...drive a new truck and roll stock for who knows how long and look like every other truck on the road or keep your truck, and mod the hell out of it and have a one-of-a-kind truck that every knows it you. My truck's 25 years old, so i don't have to worry about a payment. I have 185,xxx miles too but I'm planning on a new engine rebuild sometime in the near future.

My trucks only 9 months old to me and it's got a lot .

But like your saying i too have that 90 z71 i'm moding so same vote again just i have a different DD

Everyone knows what truck i drive because you don't see many 84 f150's being restored. Doesn't really apply to your situation, but if you do things that no one else does then people when know it's your truck. That's the whole plan behind my truck. Mod it and make it a truely custom truck.

Well i was gonna repaint it, tint the front windshield, new headlights, hids, new taillights. modular intake tube, rims and tires, etc.

I mean i did just rebuild the transmission

The V8 in it will run forever.
