A couple of months back I picked up the Harbor Freight 11 drawer rolling tool cabinet with hopes of replacing 7 or 8 small boxes to get everything in one place.
When I brought it home and was working on putting it together the first thing I noticed is it just feels flimsy. Compared to the higher end boxes the metal is very thin and overall the box just doesn't feel too sturdy. Next point is it does not have ball bearing drawer slides. Not a huge deal but when you load a drawer down with bigger or heavier tools it makes a difference. That brings us to the next point, the bottom drawer on the middle box is a bit taller but most of the drawers are too short to fit any large tools so at least you don't have to worry about overloading it. Don't plan on standing up any deep well sockets anywhere other than that one drawer and even then it will be close. I have no other complaints about the box, it does what it's intended to do which is hold tools so I wouldn't say you absolutely shouldn't buy it I would just say if you can afford to it would be in your best interest to go with a higher quality box. If you can catch it on sale and make use of a 20% off coupon and bring the box home for $100-125 it wouldn't be a bad deal but at the normal price of 199.99 you could probably do better.
