I've thought about running that, Altho at the moment my boat is still auto mix. I didn't know if anyone ran that. I've always ran Quicksilver premium plus.
Ran amsoil in my last 150 merc, But i converted it to pre-mix. Always sucked, I run through over a gallon of oil a weekend when i premix. The new engine uses half the oil.
I've got an amsoil account that gets 25 or 30% off i beleive.
My boat is a 84, I just put a new floor and electronics last year. Now all this crap. But this is its last transplant. The boat will be retired to a pond with a small outboard when i'm done with it. I'm not building it this time to last 50 more years lol.. Just strong, Maybe it will last me a year or two. And then a local guy said he'd buy it for his pond. And he will only put a small outboard or trolling motor on it. It sucks i love the boat, Its a quick hull and handles like a dream.
The pontoon with 150hp outback will be a fishing dream,lol.

Sucks that the transom is a goner but some new wood and plenty of glass will make it as good as new.

They HP Marine is for oil injection, or if you wanted it can be used as a premix at 50:1.
Yeah, Its going to look a little odd. But i plan on spraying anti skid paint/stuff, Over the cuts on the top cap, and on top of the top cap.Make it look somewhat professional lol. Either way, Its just an old beat up fishing boat that looks good at 55ish mph

I'm really thinking aobut switching to that. We run Amsoil in our 2stroke bikes, And its actually been the best i've tried. Keeps the powervalves much cleaner than other oils. I liked the Lucas, but can't get it locally anymore. And can't get any deals on it lol
