Gonna put the clear on that this morning..

And probably going to take the carpet off the front seats and going to stain them also. They are just carpeted right now.

Well, After putting the boat in the water for the first time a few weekends back... I found something not so fun.





This is the transom of the boat :/... So i did what any cheapass redneck would do....

All of the wood is gone. The only reason it looks like wood is there is caused from the fiberglass matting. Someone had put a new transom and stringers in. And did a horrible job :/ (Probably a worse job than i'm going to do.)

To be done right all the wood would have been fully sealed. They left the ends open. I'm going to do a halfass job putting it back together. And it will last a couple years. I'm in the process of building a garage, so i don't have the extra cash to buy another hull. So, i will piece her back together and run it a few seasons. I have a new 150 Merc outboard and new trailer. I might run across a cheap hull in te next few years. If not i plan to buy a toon that will hold the Merc outback :D
