Are those tires loud going down the highway?

I'm back from a 3k mile road trip. I wouldn't call the tires noisy at all.

Actually, this truck is the least-wind-noisy truck I think I've ever driven, which would make noisy tires more obvious. To me, the tires aren't noisy and noisy tires, etc. usually bug me.

One thing I HAVE noticed is that I seem to get "some" amount of (what I think is) tread feedback through the steering wheel. They're not to the point of vibrating the steering wheel, but I can feel what I THINK is some chunky-tread feedback in the wheel some at some speeds.

Loving the truck, though. It's the most "solid" vehicle I've ever owned.

Three year update. Not TOO terribly long after I bought her, work decided we needed to commute to work at least 2 days a week. That was unexpected. BUT, it costs was the costs!

I'm still under 40k miles on 'er. The ONLY thing I can think of that has needed to be repaired was the driver's mirror. I "crunched" it while backing into the garage one day. That was $$, but oh well!

I average probably 11 mpg or so in town. 15ish on the road??

No regrets!

I'm currently making myself available to help my dad while he recovers from a triple heart bypass surgery. He's doing well, but I knew he'd need some extra help and .... work was pressuring me to give them more priority than they deserved. SOOOOOOO, I'll find a new job after he's healed-up some more!



After I nail down "where to next!?" I'll go on a good road trip!
