The lack of regens is worth it... And no weasel piss.

Yeah lately the damn thing has been in a perpetual regen. It's cold, and I have been making a lot of short trips. The smell is just obnoxious to go along with the 9 MPG in town while this nonsense carried on, until I was able to get it out in the highway

Same here. I've been considering going out for a longer drive just to let it regen. That's messed up.

I know my little 4 banger isn't much but once I was driving home and it started a regen just as I got back. I sat in the driveway for 10min keeping the rpms at 2k so that it would complete the regen. I hate to shut it down when it is.

We don't get the cold here like most. I know diesels emissions are higher when cold so it would seem normal to have frequent regens, especially if you short trip.

I can't wait. Mine is in regen for the 3rd time this week. So sick of it. It didn't start this shit until about 25k miles.

How much idle time do you put on it? Might not hurt to kick in the fast idle if you have it...

Put the park brake on, turn on the exhaust brake, and hit the set cruise button... Should idle itself up to 1200 RPM.

But some trucks are just more regen happy than others... Sometimes the dealership will try to fix it, other times they just say that it's normal.

Well, so far, the new tuner is miles ahead of Idaho Rob was with the CP3 conversion.... The truck runs smoother, idle and low throttle applications are more quiet, it pulls harder, and I'm getting better mileage already... I'm on track for an extra 45 - 50 miles per tank, around town/mixed going to work, with two run cycles after it sits for more than a couple hours.

Nice. What do you get for mileage?

I was getting 375 to 425km a tank with Rob's tunes, in the same type of driving.

I'm on par for 550km or so... My truck scales in at 9000lbs, so around town, I can't complain, lol. Especially with something in my front end dragging, lol. It was really noticeable once my 4wd shit the bed, and all the ice we've been having.

TCCM or ground wire... Haven't had the chance to crawl underneath, yet... Dealership charges a full hour for programming the TCCM... And has to be done at the dealership... So hopefully it's a bad ground, lol
