Plug it off after you get the lift pump in... It won't trip the light with the sensor unplugged.

You can buy a WIF plug for the filters, or do the CAT filter... Either one is good... But CAT filters are cheap like borscht, compared to AC Delco, lol.Plug it off after you get the lift pump in... It won't trip the light with the sensor unplugged.

Joy... That's one thing I was surprised about mine... The DEF system never gave me any trouble, lol.I was busy and didn't have a chance to update, but i took the truck in to the dealer on friday for the DEF system maintenance countdown and CEL. When I dropped it off the service writer said "it's probably just the DEF tank heater, we've had to replace a few of those". Well, she called about 4:30 on friday..."It's not the DEF tank heater, and we don't what the actual problem is yet. It'll be at least monday at this point."
Whee.

Hopefully they find out the problem, soon!
Was your DEF filled all the way, and then parked outside at well below freezing?
Sometimes, when it freezes, it needs to fill all the way up to reset... But dealerships problem, lol.Joy... That's one thing I was surprised about mine... It was about half full when it first happened. Temps at the time were between 5 and 25F. It warmed up significantly after that though and it never recovered. I'm super interested to see what they say. I need to get off my ass and buy a new code reader. I would love to know what the codes were.
