I think the Raptor's softer suspension actually hurt it in this competition. I'm not gonna fanboy out over it, the Dodge won. Hopefully all the Dodge win does is make Ford improve on their design of the Raptor. All in all, it looked like the Raptor had everyday driving in mind when it was built and the Ram was built for all out off off roading.

Luckily I'm not a huge fan of the Raptor, so it doesn't hurt my feelings as I'm sure it does other Ford fanboys. I personally wish Ford would shelf the Raptor and create a new Lightning... :dunno:

The Ram Runner is a cool package, but Dodge (Ram) really needs to build it from the factory like Ford did the Raptor. It is cool that you can add the Ram Runner parts to an existing truck, but the cost/complexity of having it done separately is a turn-off compared to the Raptor. Either way, though, I am glad to see the OEM stepping up and offering some specialty packages that consumers want rather than just marketing mass-appeal models.

That would be too many trucks. The power wagon is in the Ram Runners seat.

Did they list the total cost of each vehicle? I missed it some how.

I think it's one of those "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" type of things.

They listed it at like 15k more than a raptor.
Reason behind it is because the ram runner is a bolt on kit for any newer dodge ram, not a factory beast like the power wagon or raptor.

IMO the Ram won fair and square but like the driver I'd still rather have the raptor.
Ram should stick with the power wagon because of the price of the ram runner and because I personally think the power wagon would continue to attract attention and the ram runner wouldn't even if it's offered like that from the factory

so the raptor is a assembly line vehicle, and the ram is a one off built... no test here. tests are of vehicles that are allegedly the same. these were not.

i hate the raptor. don't be confused... but i don't like dodge trying to compete with a factory built with a one off built truck, shady.
