5 stars... and you didn't even need to create an exhaust leak just to get the turbo sound. Truck looks sick.
 Wow, that was a good one.

Sweet truck and build. I love that its backed by a 5spd (? or 6spd?)! What is your drivetrain setup (trans, diff, & gears)?

Your header-to-turbo tubing is a work of art. Are you polishing them (I sure as hell hope so!)?
it has a viper spec'd t56, gm 14bolt currently has 410s. Was thinking of getting them ceramic coated if anything. the 6speed makes the truck fun, auto in this setup would deffently be faster but enjoyment goes further then living at the track

Very nice setup.
Ceramic coating would definitely help keep your under-hood temps down too. I'd go that route.
What is different about a Viper t56 VS anything else? (I'd love to put one in my S10 someday, but that means moving the shifter farther back which won't work with my factory center console) I really like how you got it to be in the factory location!

SWEET!

The truck is obviously a work of art... My hat is off to anybody that builds a RCSB, but damn what a build this one is! I love the overall look too.

WOO HOO! :tmc:

if you go to D&D performance 's site and look up their T56 youll see the differences. theres a good bit of difference and sells new around 3400.

ive seen a t56 in a gmt-400 body and didnt look bad at all with console and see a t56 in a console in a s10 came up thru cup holder

That is one slick build. The whole thing looks sweet. You are a serious master crafter for sure. I bet the plugs are a bitch to change.

Shifter looks sweet in the center console. Are you going to insulate the oil return tubes any? Kind of close to the heat of the exhaust I would think.:dunno:

Next time I make a trip up to visit my parent in Johnstown I'll have to see if I can meet up and see it in person.

Ya, I saw a pic of a t56 in my body style S10 and I guessed that it would come out the cup holder too. I haven't found a pic of anyone using the factory console too though :dunno:.

EDIT:
Here's an S10 I just found. you can see the shifter behind the wheel, but there's no clear view of it.
Just found pics. #1. #2. #3. Looks like I need to find an automatic console so I don't have to deal with the big hole from my current shifter. Or I could just keep mine and build some cup holders to go where my shifter was...hmmm.

the oil returns should be fine without any insulation the DPs will be wrapped so it should help with the heat. also the pic shows them closer then actually are

the latest update is
i got the motor in the chassis and started doing the wiring of the motor. I also redid my ventilation setup. This time i have -12 out of each valve cover into 2 seperate breather tanks. By doing it this way i can determine which of the motor has more blow by then the other. Also helps with breathing as they are larger and shorter vent tubes. i also using the Ls2/ls7 valley cover to vent the crankcase as well. With this one i ran 5/16 hose and have it routed to vent under the motor. In the pics you can see where i placed the breather tanks. i placed them there for out of site out of mind along with a better oil run off
