I've been thinking about this lately. I've got a set of Bi-Xenon HIDs just sitting in a box. I never got around to installing them since I didn't want to blind people around town. But if I retro some nice projectors, that's a different story.

I've also got my old stock head lights sitting in a closet....

Projectors are the way to go...
Anything designed for HID's will rock.

These are the lights he got SICKHIDS did this retro fit. I personally would have done the halo around the whole headlight bowl not just the projector but thats just me. I am curious to see how much he charges to do this. First time I've seen one that doesn't look hideous for our 04-08 trucks

He should've made a black shroud to fill out the reflector area, but other than that, not too shabby!

That'll probably run between $300 - $600.
It's usually closer to the $300 mark if you supply your own projectors.

Prices may have come down in the past year or two, though... Some of the guys at HIDPlanet do it, too.

That's exactly what I had in mind, minus the halos.... I wonder how the output is and if it still blinds oncoming traffic.
