Come do my truck nao plz?

You would have to pay me many MANY moneys for me to do that.

I figured 2 things out these last few weeks: I never want work on exhausts, or strip another frame by hand again. Or do anything with a frame that involves paint. Ever.

Then move to someplace where it doesn't snow and has no salt on the roads!

Or just get a lift to make exhaust work easier. :jester:

And never buy another vehicle that's not from the southwest. :D

I kinda know what you are going through, My bed is off the truck right now and I will be steam cleaning it and painting it with POR15 before the truck is finished and reassembeled.

If you get the stuff on your skin, get it off right away. Once it dries, the only way to get it off, is to take the skin that it is stuck on off with it.

I don't really want to go back and read the thread so what did you use to strip off all of the rust in the first place? any chemical or just elbow grease?

I got rid of all of the loose rust with a bunch of different things (screw driver, razor blade, hammer and chisel ). I painted over all of the rust with POR15.

Hopefully it'll hold up well.
