I tore out the old front suspension and steering parts. Allof it is pretty worn out. As you can see I had to stick knuckles in the springsjust to get them to ride height. The newer donor truck is giving up its diskbrakes and much beefier parts.
It has been a while since I have been able to work on this build.Between my works/school schedule and the weather, the trucks have satuntouched. I did however make a very small amount of headway. The damn pin inthis passenger side strut on the donor truck was a mofo to get out. I had todrill and hammer the crap out of it. The strut survived though and will bereinstalled on the 72. I cannot belive that one little pin consumed so muchtime. In the time it took me to get the pin out I had the complete front suspensionpulled from the 72.
