I want to go through the engine very much badly. But it does not need it. The fire wall and inner fenders actaully look great. The inner fender wells could use some toughing up though. I think a real good scrubbing would be a big difference by its self.
I bolted everything from the 72 into the donor truck. I hadto get that wrapped up so I could get my jack stands back and I got tired ofthe left over’s lying around. The springs have not settled yet, but even so I amquite surprised at how well they are holding the weight of that 6BT. They couldnot hold the weight of the 318 hardly at all. I got pretty much all I could getfrom this truck for this stage of the build. But do not worry, you will seethis truck again. I will dedicate a build thread, so to speak, of its own. I have to figure out why it quit running andI have to make sure the drive train is in good running order before I pull it.
