Gotcha. I had bad luck finding PureOne filters locally any time I wanted one (when they were called that) for my truck, or the Acadia, and I finally found them online, so I started using them again, then...poof, gone
It's your fault, you got me into them all those years ago!

I've been using Purolator filters since high school with the exception of about a 5 year span. I was using Wix that I'd get from Amsoil. I went back to Purolator a couple of years ago.

Did the truck today, momma's Acadia is next.
I bought Purolator BOSS filters this time! I was looking for the PureOne, which they had not been making for my newer vehicles, and found the BOSS Synthetic filters. About the same price as every other Synthetic.

S&B Air Filter - 10K mile change

I have been stretching these S&B paper filters out to 10K, which is the max according to them. I have been unable to find anything else to fit the odd-ball 5.5 inch flange. Fuggin' things are $80

When it is a service with Amsoil, all 3 fuel filters, and the air filter, it is an expensive day.
When it is all of this and synthetic ATF, filter, and syn diff change, it is a ridiculous day

Did you check to see if AMSOIL has a universal air filter that might work? Also Wix XP is a great filter if you are not running AMSOIL's oil filter. It is a synthetic media filter. Also when they are on sale, which around here they are now get a NAPA Platinum or Gold filter. They are also great filters. NAPA runs specials every so often and the price is below $5 a filter in most cases. Might give your local NAPA a call and find out.

Definitely shy on the mileage, I think we did too much stop and go, and idling in the hot summer with the A/C. We also got winter early, and it idled thawing the windows. Finally got the damn thing in the garage LOL

My stash of XL 5w30 is now gone!

Does that take the AC/Delco PF63? If so why not use it for such short intervals? I got a case of them off Ebay for $48, works out to be $4 a filter. I change the oil on three Traverses and use it on them.

I should probably change the oil in the truck. I'm not sure how many miles are on the oil, but the last time I changed it was 8/31. There has to be 5K on the oil, or real close if not over.

I'd wait until your OLM light comes on. It wouldn't be more than about 6k miles on it. At least my 2002 goes off around that mileage.

I went out and looked. I'm around 300 miles shy of 5K on the oil. I think the OLM was at 34%. I'll give it a few more weeks.

I can't believe I went that long. I don't think I've ever put 6K miles on any oil. I have to admit...with that many miles on it, she still runs smooth and quiet.

Bought my Nissan Frontier last Oct. and have just put 3000 miles on it.
I'am going to the dealer that I bought it from as the first oil change is free and
also have a maintenance agreement on it.
