The oil on this change was AMSOIL's 0w-20. It held up great considering this engine calls for a 5w-30. It was in use even when pulling the trailer up and down the interstate in 3rd gear tach at 2,800rpm for an hour. Here is the UOA

According to the OLM, I could have gone a few more miles.
I changed the air filter while I was at it with a Purolator One.

Got 2700 on it, now. I will probably change it all again in the spring, just because. I also want to go with 75w140 in the transmission, this one has a finicky neutral, and the rumor is that a good synthetic 75w140 helps

Did the truck today, momma's Acadia is next.
I bought Purolator BOSS filters this time! I was looking for the PureOne, which they had not been making for my newer vehicles, and found the BOSS Synthetic filters. About the same price as every other Synthetic.

S&B Air Filter - 10K mile change

I have been stretching these S&B paper filters out to 10K, which is the max according to them. I have been unable to find anything else to fit the odd-ball 5.5 inch flange. Fuggin' things are $80

When it is a service with Amsoil, all 3 fuel filters, and the air filter, it is an expensive day.
When it is all of this and synthetic ATF, filter, and syn diff change, it is a ridiculous day

I don't think Purolator makes the Pure One filter any more. It's just called the Purolator One now. It doesn't come with the texture on the outside of it like the Pure One did either.

Gotcha. I had bad luck finding PureOne filters locally any time I wanted one (when they were called that) for my truck, or the Acadia, and I finally found them online, so I started using them again, then...poof, gone
It's your fault, you got me into them all those years ago!
