Sucks I didn't get a sample before they drained the oil to change out the oil pan gasket for the leak that developed. What sucks is the leak is still there. Going back to the garage next week after this bad weather passes.

Sent sample off to see how it does. I told them not to go past 5k with this vehicle
Since they are only running 5k I get the CQ Red filters for $2 each.

Ea064 filter out and Ea030 filter on
Sent sample off to Dysonanalysis to see how this sample did. Reason for so short is I changed out the oil pan, intake gaskets and rear main seal so there will be some sealant in there somewhere. My oil consumption went to 0 after the intake gasket change. So it must have had a small leak. I use to go through a qt in 5k miles. No more smoke on start up after pulling the trailer either so I'm happy.

Also I have been running E85 for most of this oil change and I want to see what effect it has had on the oil.

The truck may have used an 1/8th of a quart if any and was still pretty damn clean.

Sent the sample off to Dysonanalysis and Terry said to change it. The Karl Fischer water test was really high and so was my silicon. So I double checked the air filter and didn't see any leak areas. All seemed tight. So we will run this one and see what happens. On a good note, the oil level was still full.
