Also installed a Fumoto Valve F107N to make oil changes easier.

I wish I had taken an oil sample at the last change. It would be interesting to see how much cleaner my oil will stay after the EGR delete

:facepalm: Yeah, that would have been nice!

I can still do it. I have about 2K on this Amsoil, and I will likely change it out at 5K. I am betting that the next change, that I stretch out to 7K will have less soot

I wasn't even going to try with the emissions controls in place. It comes out like tar.
I changed the Mobil 15w40 that the dealer put in after 1200 to switch to Amsoil, and I was appalled. Diesel oil is always black, but this snot stained everything, it was so heavy with soot.

EGR's are evil. It makes a difference. My last oil change came out like gas job oil, lol... Just black.
