Let's get back to real stock cars. Take 'em off the show room floor and race 'em.....

Stock cars in "stock car" racing!? :willy:

I do think France and all the higher ups are too stuck on "this is how we've always done it, so this is what we have to do." But, as long as the France family is in control, I doubt that'll change.. :(

If NASCAR fans wanted to watch all road courses, they wouldn't be watching NASCAR. But, I do think there "has" to be something that can be done with Daytona and Talladega to make them safer for all parties involve AND keep it interesting. I just have no clue what that is.

If they paid me enough $$, I bet I could come up with something, though! :jester: :rollin:

Race was delayed and so was my posting the results :D I guess you guys already figured out who won :p

Heck of a wreck at the end. I wonder how many people stayed up late enough to see it? I think the race ended at about 2:45am. Way past my bedtime on a work night. Glad everyone made it out OK. I hear there were a couple of big wrecks.

The delay did allow me to watch the Ladies US team kick the crap out of Japan for the World Cup:flag:

Don't forget- it's going to be a Saturday night race this week.

or should I say it's supposed to be Saturday night. The way things are going, it will probably be rained out until Sunday, or 3:00 in the morning.
