So my friend has a 2003 Land Rover Discovery 2. He bought it 4 years ago, drove it from Dallas to Odessa no issues, then shortly after he got here it started overheating whenever he would drive it. Fast forward.
He has replaced the water pump, thermostat, all the hoses, flushed the radiator, new fan. Still overheats. He told me I could have it, but I don't want to sink a bunch of money into it and still have issues with it overheating.
There is no white smoke, can't smell it in the exhaust, no leaks, the hoses pressure up, no coolant in the oil, but still overheats (I haven't seen it running, so all second hand info).
Any ideas? I'm thinking about calling around to auto shops here and getting an opinion or 2, but I thought I would see what yall had to say.

I was thinking something similar.
