Here's pics of the progress of me stripping out the 88C1500 parts truck and my very first engine/trany combo pull.

Also stripped the doors, rear bumper and tailgate of this truck also. I done all this by myself yesterday and today.

I opened up a can worms when removing the driveshaft from the tail of the trany. The rear seal starting leaking like a waterfall. Trany fluid was brown and smelled burnt.

I haven't done that in over twenty years. Like Jim said, the tranny doesn't sound like it was taken care of.

Well the trany is gonna make a good donor to learn to rebuild trany later on.
