Like I said before, I want to mount some rocker switches (to the left of the steering column) and a 1/8 in. headphone jack (to the right of the CD/cubby hole).

Just a quick update:

I've ordered my rocker switches and headphone jack. Once they get here, I'll locate them and cut the holes. Then I'll start painting!!!

Painting is on hold until I get the holes cut for the switches and AUX headphone input jack (which should be here next week). Once those are cut I'll start painting as long as it isn't too hot or humid out. When I start painting, I'll have more pics.

Thanks for your patience!!

My AUX input jacks arrived (just a simple headphone jack).

I got them from kvconnection.com
Link to the Black one.
Link to the Silver one.

I'll be going with the black one. For me, it will be a nicer, cleaner look with a black ring and only a little silver (the silver nut will be on the backside).

Sorry for the blurriness. The camera can't focus easily on something so small.

I'll see when I get done with work tomorrow, but I might start sanding my air vents to get them ready too. They're gonna be a pain with all the small areas plus I still have to get them back together after paint without chipping or cracking them.

It will look awesome though! I can't wait to get them all done!

Hey Hunter, I finally looked at your CarDomain. Holy Crap man :willy:!!! Your truck has come a long ways . Looks like all that is left is interior and drivetrain. At least you don't have to worry about Old Man Winter like I do .

Thanks man! :D I tell you what, if i had to do it all again. i would in a heartbeat. it was so much fun watching my truck transform. I can probably speak for both of us when i say it's a worthy investment. For me, it's a centimental thing. i won't ever sell my truck. But you're right, i only have the interior and the drivetrain to do. then it's just fixing and replacing things. i like the progress of your truck man. I'll gladly help you with any questions you have man

I've started sanding my other parts (air vents [the 4 that aim at passengers and the 2 that aim at the side windows], pull-out cup holder, and fuse cover on the side of the dash). I would like to point out that I used 100 grit on everything to start with EXCEPT for the cup holder and fuse cover (they needed 60). Those pieces are still a little rough, but I'm confident that the filler primer will take care of it.

I'll sand them more tonight after work (150, 220, 400 in addition to the 100 that I already did).

I'll have pics once everything is painted. That may be a while since I'm still waiting on my switches so I can cut holes in the dash trim bezel before I paint. Then I'll take some of the truck with everything in.

I'm trying to keep you guys posted.
