when you get more pics could you get a close up of the honycomb? wanna see how well the paint blends in there

Will do. Didn't get the coverage I wanted with it laying flat, so I painted it holding it up. Painted all four directions (left side up, right side up, bottom up and top up) going up, down and left, right in each direction. (If that makes since) Also painted both front and rear of the grill.

yea thats what im afraid of. its gonna take a while to get a nice even coats and with my color being so deep its hard to do just on flat stuff like my mirror caps

yea thats what im afraid of. its gonna take a while to get a nice even coats and with my color being so deep its hard to do just on flat stuff like my mirror caps

Had to give it 4 coats before it would get dark enough to start matching.

i like it, i'm wondering what it might look like with both billet grills paint matched though

Hey Pete. I thought about that this afternoon. I'll try to do a photoshop and see what it looks like.

How's the new engine build going on with your truck? Been awhile since I've seen an update.

You used 3 cans of paint and 2 cans of clear, holy cow! :eek: or is that coats?

Looks good :thumbs:
