Until someone chimes in that knows more then me, I'd say most O2 exhaust bungs are the same size. There is no mention of brands on the website.:dunno:

I sorry I should have clarified my question. I meant exactly that as far as the thread size of the bungs, O2 sensors, and "adapters".

This will be useful, as soon as Anchorage drops the IM inspections  I am good until November 2013 without inspection. It is supposed to be dropped next year, so I am holding off on the headers, etc, until I see it officially BANNED.

Just wanted to see if these were still working? Would I have trouble in MA with inspection? I get P0430 and saw P0420 once recently. Had my maggie hi flows on for 2.5 years. I had them checked today and the shop said no leaks. In April 2010, I had all 4 cats taken off and 2 put on. (94106) No codes until October 2010 and got P0430. Then shut off until February and got it again. Then shut off until September 2011, then on now to the point it's every day or every other. To me, that sounds like a leak, but 2 shops said there are none.

Only way to really tell if the cat/cats are bad is to look at the O2 sensor readouts using a scan tool or have your pipe sniffed.

They worked yes and no! P0430 stayed away for long time, but my bank2 sensor2 has failed. Giving me a PA024, IIRC. Just haven't had time to deal with it. I would try them though, they seemed to help with the code.

Sent from my pocket.

I thought I'd do an update on my :quote:off road application :quote: of my O2 deletes. I don't know how "common" this will be for some (as Jarrod had no probs) but, for me it turned in to a HUGE fWONkIN' PITA!!!:fume::fume::fume::fume:

I'll just refer to the passenger side as I can't imagine the driver's side being hard to do. I stated before it was a tight fit between the exhaust and frame. So after putting it off WAY to long I ordered the $30 angled adapter and one down stream O2 to complete my set of new.

What I didn't plan on was the fWONkin' heat shield being in the way!!

So I had to remove the 6 nuts (10mm) and flex and shove the shield out of the way. (It is a small chore but, you can do this without damaging it and you don't need to remove it completely just out of the way). 5 of the nuts are easily accessible with a deep well socket and air/regular ratchet the sixth (in front above the exhaust) you can get with on open end wrench then change to a shallow socket and small (1/4") ratchet.

I will add, I don't know if it was 100% necessary or I was just pissed and not holding my mouth right but, I had to slide the front of the shield out of the way so the plug from the up stream sensor could clear it before unscrewing it from the bung.

If you look you can see in the before and after pics there is a 2 piece fastener (per hole) the flat white snaps in to the black and sandwiches the shield in between. Don't know if you can order new as I really wasn't worried at the time but, I'll probably look in to it for when I get a new exhaust "just because".

It barely clears the frame too.

I'm sure with aftermarket exhausts and various assembly plants this might be a 1 in a____ case. If you combine Jarrod's detailed write up and come armed with my "what if" pointers you should be able to complete this in an hour (ish). Realistically (if you have a strait forward install) it's about 10 minutes a sensor (give or take).

Along with anti seize I used dielectric grease on the plugs (I use it on pretty much all my plugs).

I'll know more today but, the little I drove last night the check engine light didn't come on. I can't swear if the deletes fixed the problem or just installing new O2s did but, (as I said) I have them for a new exhaust anyway. :dunno:
