Govt has no reason to be involved as usual. If your vehicle is on a lift you are on the bottom of the totem pole as far as who should be concerned about an accident. The guy under the lift, the shop owner, the insurance company etc are the people who should be concerned. If anyone should be doing safety checks it should be those people, not the govt. Their incentive for good shop safety>govt's.

Most of those are accidents involving jacks, not lifts.

Tell your professor he's a douche bag for teaching bullshit as the truth.

And? There making everyone get certified to use jacks as well next year. The guy who taught the class was from Maine.
