JFWY they must have one hell of a charge on them.
Are you a man or a mouse? These Bilstein rear shocks are also some tough bastards. J-rods method wont fully work here, its best to jack up each end one at a time by floor jack and get some truck weight off the shock, remove OEM, then un-slip the zip tie thing from the shocks and install them, one side at a time. Took me & my bud 15 mins. Shoot the bolts with some WD-40 or PB Blaster for 10 min and go at it![]()

Ok so I went to our local Goodyear chain here in town. I have had great experience with the manager there, he is a loyal cusotmer to the tackle shop I used to work at until 2years ago. He has done work on my old Boss' vehicles and on my old suburban a few times. So all in all good experience for a chain.
Anyways I got quoted $139.95 (strut installation) & $79.95 (alignment) so I get $220 before tax. This is for installing the front struts only.
Sounds pretty fair right?![]()

Sounds a little high to me but then I'm in a small town and deal with a family owned business that has been open for 45yrs.

hmmm ok I may go to the local shop around the corner and see if they are cheaper, he was sky high on doing my exhaust though![]()

I gotta agree with Darren, that's not a bad price at all. I'd do it.$139 installed is a damn good deal. I paid $184 for quality work so if it comes with great quality, very nice. It is the toughest coil known to man![]()
