I need to find that thread I made about the cooler I did on my 07

That thing did great pulling 6k. Bumper mods are not needed IMO

The 900's should have a little more room up front, some guy did a write up on a true cool install with a Radix hex.

Have you ever logged your transmission temps while towing? Also, is there a reason for the tru cool system vs say Flex a lite, B&M, etc?

That would be great. What brand did you go with?

The Tru Cool cooler looks great, I just don't know much about them.

The Tru Cool is the one you want. All the performance guys swear by them.

I think you should grab a Ranch Hand and then mount the cooler out in front.

One thing it seems most forget is to change your ATF fluid over to a full synthetic. It helps keep the heat down over a conventional fluid.

Also the stacked plate cooler is the most efficient cooler over the tube and fin, and plate and fin style coolers. Hayden has a good rep when it come to transmission coolers.

No never did any logging of trans temps while towing, your biggest worry when towing with boost is going to be burning intake valves. :D

Ask me how I know! Remember, just because you can pull that hill without easing off the pedal, doesn't mean you should.

Hi Performance guys swear by the Tru Cool and I ran across a good deal on it. Hayden makes great heat exchangers too though.
