Yeah that's the lake he is in. It's a clay road they put through there so we can get to the dam. It's really soft right now.

I'm surprised he could not use the boom and bucket to pull himselfs out. I've seen some guys do some amazing shit in excavators when using the boom as another form of locomotion.

I have seen some guys make themselves more stuck trying to get themselves out. I would say position the boom to his right and pick the machine up. Then using the swing to rotate the base while operating the tracks he could get back on the road. The problem may lie in the fact that if he gets caught with his bucket in the water without Biodegradable oil in the system he is in for some hefty fine.

This. He could have been out in a minute or two and nobody would have been the wiser if they weren't standing there watching him do it. :rolleyes:
