OBS= Old Body Style (88-98) aka GMT-400
NBS=New Body Style (99-2007 classic) aka GMT-800
NNBS=New New Body Style (07-11+) aka GMT-900
Correct, the dumbest acronyms ever.
It kinda works though. :dunno:

I prefer to use the GMT-xxx versus the OBS/NBS/NNBS. Its just easier to keep track of, but not everyone knows WTF a GMT400 is. That look at you like "what are you talking about".

Scab is definitely a Ford thing. :rolleyes:

Good thing we don't use those dumb "xBS" acronyms here.

:crackup:

The only years I'd specify in a sig would be '99 (all tons), '00 3/4 and 1 ton, and '07 since that was a mix year too.

OBS stands for Old Body Style. Your truck would be refred to as a Scab most likely.

Wouldn't it be ECSB = extended cab short bed.

He's a Ford guy. They aren't the brightest. :jester:

OBS trans

Thanks guys my OBS trans is working better now since I bought it off of ebay it has had a slight delay going into reverse now after about five years it's finally working right I hope it stays like that. I was going to try a trans additive but it was just a slight slip and when new I didn't want to take it off again even thou the seller wanted to make it right.
