It's not going well. :( :frustration:

Auto-bidding kicked in a little bit ago. The price went up from $610 to $1,000 between me and one other person. I'm not willing to go a whole lot higher. I'm willing to go $1,500 on it, but that's it. There's still another 1hr 15min to go too.

$1,325

Only $165 more than the other one went for. I'm happy. My original limit was $1300, but for $25 who cares. :D Shipping ended up being quite a bit less than anticipated (the invoice says less than what eBay did).

You are one lucky SOB :fume:

It would be interesting to throw it on the dyno as a before and after.

I'd really like to, but I only know of one dyno in town and that's at the tech college I went to. I don't know if it is open to the public or not. I'm not sure of any others.

I'm really excited, but this won't be going on very soon.....at all. :(

This is one piece of my "parts to add" list. I still need to find a marine intake (preferably one that is already drilled and tapped; I don't trust myself enough to get it right) which is probably gonna be harder to find than the Whipple, and a 0411 ECM. These are the only three parts I need that are used. The entire engine build will all be new.

If I can, I'd like to find an intake and get the ECM swap done this winter and then possibly put the Whipple on the stock 350 (as it is designed for) and run it like that until I rebuild the entire drivetrain. This will probably be my only real option unless I want to wait for another year from now (or more) for when I have the funds to rebuild the engine (into a 383) and the trans. That will be a major chunk of change.

I have big plans, but one day it will all come together and be AWESOME!!! :rocker:
