Check your heater hose first. If both are hot, it is probably a blend door problem. If just one is hot flush the heater core.

Sounds like a blend door issue to me. Have auto HVAC or manual?

Blend doors on these things can be a pain. My recirc door has been messed up for a couple of years now. Just haven't taken the time to fix it. Do some googling of gm blend door and see if that leads you to anything.

Sounds like the blend door. Mine gets stuck on hot fairly often but I still have not bothered to fix it because if I shut off the truck and wait long enough, it will eventually move back to cold. If and when it gets permanently stuck, then I will have to fix it. :lol:

sounds like a blend door.

or just trade it in on a ford expedition. lol

seems to be the blend door was sticking from not being used. its now working as it should and heats up just fine now.
