I'm seriously peeved at Nissan over the castrated sissy redo of the Pathfinder. Another bullshit FWD piece of crossover garbage for the road.

AND

It's ugly to boot.

fWONkers.

I'll go along with that. The last gen Pathfinder was pretty sweet, especially since you could get the 5.6 V8 in it. Why not just lengthen the next gen Murano so it'll fit a 3rd row if that's what they wanted? Would have been a much better investment than the Murano convertible. Seeing the Pathfinder go FWD crossover was probably more disappointing then when Ford renamed the 2nd gen Freestyle/Taurus X the Explorer.

Yeah. manufacturers are pretty much denutting everything and going FWD for the mommy crowd... since SUVs are "not cool" anymore with them.

What doesn't make sense to me is, why not ram that cummins into just that... A ram half ton?

That's what it was originally designed for, then 2008 came along.

Should be interesting. Hope to see affordable prices on them.

I wonder if anyone will make a Titan-looking to not-Titan-looking conversion kit.

Titans aren't as bad as the tundra's. With road armor bumpers the titans are probably one of my favorite fixed up.

So the Feds gave away some bucks for Cummins and Nissan to slap the ISF2.8 into a few Titans to find out that they were not really suitable to the American market requirements for a 1/2-ton when the ISF3.8 could fare better with its 450lb.ft. rating in spite of the 160hp which could be deemed too low...

There were plans to make a 4.2L V6, which probably would go into the 1/2-ton, and the V8 would be a 5.6L.
