Ok here it is. Retail prices for the OE (3000 mile oil) 10w30 oil (a case of 12 and 5 single qts) and wix oil filters for the three is 118 plus shipping. 64 bucks a case of 12 kicks mobil1's @$$.

I agree with Jarrod that the longer drain intervals are a huge savings in the long run but to each his own

So you are saying that for a case of amsoil and 5 extra quarts (enough to do all three vehicles) AND wix filters for each retails at $118?

If nick can come close to that, and free shipping just this time, he's got a customer for life. That sounds too good to be true.

And I read somewhere In here that the 3000 amsoil is actually good for more?

Yes I was mistaken when I said 3000 mile oil, I didnt read the whole description. That is retail prices on amsoil's website so yes that is $118 dollars. If you ask Nick about becoming a preferred member to get dealer prices if you planned on changing other fluids (trans, tcase, diff's) this is the route i would go because its 20%-25% off of retail.

Well, my t-case will only take GM, and I'd rather not make a swith to synthetic trans fluid at 110,000 miles in the suburban and 165,000 on the silverado. And I really don't wanna mess with the old trans in the 85

I would be interested in gear oil, at a later date.

Hell, I switched over in November. I've put just under 5K on the truck since then. I think I paid $146. for 2 cases of XL, 2 filters, and 3 qts of severe gear lube.

AMSOIL charges tax in every state since they are available in every state. It is out of my hands.
