So far so good.It was about 3 months ago and he travels across the Island quite frequently racking up the miles.

Mine was barely noticeable at 7k miles when I bought the car. By 11k miles (3 wks later? :dunno:), I was looking at trade-in values, thinking I should've bought something else. :dunno:

I took the car in last Wednesday. On Thursday, they called to tell me it would be at least Monday or Tuesday before their transmission guys could get to it. They called yesterday to say that they verified it was still acting up, they got approval from GM to replace the torque converter, and I should have it back today or tomorrow.

So, I'll keep putting miles on their loaner.

Yeah, I guess they called on the afternoon of 3/28, but I didn't know about it until I got home. I picked it up at lunch on Thursday, the 29th.

When they did the three stage transmission flush, I thought I felt it before I even got out of their parking lot. I DEFINITELY felt it within the first 1/4 mile. SO far, I haven't noticed it recurring and I've had it back for over a week and I've gone through about a tank of gas. So far, no "shudders," as the guys on the Camaro and Corvette forums call it.

1717 miles since Thursday morning. No issues with the transmission. She doesn't do well in ice, but ice on 5-7% grades probably wasn't something the engineers had planned on for this car.

Overall fuel consumption? 62.2 gallons, averaging 26.7 mpg.

The last two tanks were the best, though. 904 miles on 32.277 gallons. 29.8 mpg.

I doubt I'll ever see those numbers again, though. I remember getting some 'surprising' numbers out of the Denali shortly after I got it. The longer I had that truck, though, the heavier my foot got. It wouldn't surprise me if the same holds true for the Camaro.

It's nice to know it CAN get that kind of mileage, though, if I "need" it to. :uhoh: :dunno:

Rolled over 15k miles yesterday on my way to the gas station to fill up the thirsty beast.

Getting between 18 and 19 in town. Not bad.

No further transmission troubles up to this point.

Nice! Glad you're enjoying it and that the transmission problem seems to have been a one off! :)
