Why cant you just get a Blazer cluster if you want a tach? :dunno:

Me likey !

Is there any guarantee that they are the same and that the tach will work?
Can I open it up somehow to reset my mileage?

I don't want a tach on the dash. Just doesn't look good, but I will if I can't find a cluster.

Your truck has 171k miles, that cluster has 182k. Easiest solution is to buy that one and install it in a few months once your truck gets up to 182k miles. :dunno:
Can't get any easier than that! I mean if you REALLY wanted to, I guess you could see if just the speedo/odometer can be swapped and swap yours into a blazer cluster. :dunno:
But I dunno if you can even do that.

A few months! 11k miles would take me at least 1 1/2 years.
I'm sure there is a way to do it.
I dunno, I shop the guy an offer of $25 and we'll see what he says.

Thank you so much for finding it!!!!

Hey Scotty, I guess I just bought an instrument cluster. I didn't know that if you made an offer it was like bidding. Oh well. So $25 for the cluster and $9.02 in shipping.

Yeah, anytime you make an offer and they accept it, its just like a bid.

 Just put it in 5th and see if I can set the cruise. :rollin:

I'd never "make an offer" on eBay before. eBay automatically rejected my $20 offer so I did $25.

Can't wait until it gets here so I can see how it comes apart.

I have did a few sets of S10 headlights at work, and we use the 3m cleaner and polish. The method we use, IMO works very good and has great results.

Step 1- sand with 500 grit, 800 grit, and then wetsand with 1200 and 3000 ( you could probably go high if you wanted). We use a small air powered orbital sander, and then a white buffing pad and the 3m cleaner. Then us a black buffing pad with the 3m polish. But I really like the 3m products for the headlights, they do a very good job.

Edit: Here's a really good video from youtube on how to do it,

Thanks Tyler, but I don't have any air-powered tools so I'll be sticking with my drill. I'm gonna try to do the tail lights this weekend (headlights are sealed-beam so they are glass).
