New Truck/ Build Thread

Whats up? Havent been on here in the last 7 months or so because I haven't had a truck and have been looking for one. Very bad market, but got a good deal today and have extra money saved up!

Its an 2006 z71 with 110000 miles. Picked it up for 7500

Then did the basic cleanin

Runs pretty good but has check engine light on and i cant communicate to the ecm with my solous pro.

Very straight body except the passenger door. Am gonna get a new door and get it painted.

The other plans
6in lift
Possibly small body lift
35-37 inch tires
17 or 18 chrome rims
I am gonna paint the lower valance and flairs when i do the door.
Unsure anything about interior besides a system

Nice looking truck Paul, congrats. Have the codes read at an AutoZone or someplace like that, probably a P0449 or some other emissions crap.

Need some help with rim choices. I would like to stay at 17 but maybe 18s. Will be on 35s or 37s
