The very little drone I get is in that rpm range, 1800-2000. But it's really mild, and I don't even notice it anymore. If it was annoying at all, I would have changed set ups by now for sure

Cool...thanks for the feedback John. I'm very anal about drone so that's why I might be beating a dead horse here.

Hey, I don't blame you. We all have different tolerance levels I guess:lol:
Rest assured though, I wouldn't put up with much either

OK, that sounds good. So do you have the 12579 or 12589? I noticed the first clip was for 12579 and the other 2 clips for 12589.

Nevermind...they are the same except size. The only different is the location of the inlet. I'll crawl under the truck tonight to see which one I need.

You were one of the people I remember commenting on minor drone but it sounds like that was due to the different muffler. Since I have a CC, I'm assuming cab noise should be similar to what you experience in your 'Hoe. If that's the case, I may snag one today. Amazon Prime will have it here by the weekend. :D

The 12579 and 12589 are the same except one inlet (or outlet depending on how you weld it up) is slightly offset. Same can, same core, just an offset tube.

Order that BITCH! :D2

Either should work fine given you can use the it in either direction. Buy the cheaper one.

You'll love it. Good throaty sound, nothing that any neighbor would ever be pissed about. It'll sounds great with your wheels.

I'm looking forward to a little throaty vs a little raspy.

Whats your take on the CW billet....polished or brushed?

With the chrome surround, polished like mine was and Jim's is.
