OK.

I'm lifting my truck back up on the OEM springs. End result will be one inch higher in the front (keeping the 2 inch drop spindles) and about 1.5 inches in the rear (keeping the lowered shackles and losing the OEM block).

Question is: What kind of struts / shocks do you guys recommend? I've always had superb luck with the ride and handling the KYB units offer... so I'm thinking of going with those.

Comments?

I don't have personal experience with them but, I was always under the impression Bilstein's were the way to go and I was going to be replacing mine with them when the time comes.

IMHO shocks are like women, everyone has their own preferences and tastes. That being said, I hear nothing but good from people with Bilstein shocks, except for bitching about the price. KYB are always a good bet, as are Koni and Belltech. I would not use Monroe on a "lowered" truck, or a "lifted" truck either. But I am probably going to use Monroe on my Chevy until I decide what to do with the suspension.

I don't care about cost. I want maximum performance without a punishing ride.

Well you know my opinion towards Bilstein. The shocks I have are doing great so far.

Narrowed down to Bilstein and KYB. Both cost about the same.
