New LED 3rd brake light....problem

I missed the thread. What are the specs of the tail lights and 3rd BL. Some pics would be great too.

What do you mean by specs?
The 3rd is a Putco 920207 with 6 red LED's and 6 white LED's.
The tails....I really don't have any specs on. Gregg (BHBurban) has them with no problems. They're off eBay.

Everything works just fine until I plug in the 3rd.

I heard back from Putco.

Apparently this is a know issue and there was supposed to be an adapter included with the light. They are going to send me this adapter free of charge.

We'll see what happens once I get it. The email came from a guy in Iowa, so it shouldn't take very long.

Those are THE best aftermarket tailights ever made. It was a mistake for me to never buy those for my gmt 400

Well, just with my truck and motorcycle, the tails were finally the best on the 2nd try .


I heard back from him and he accepted my proof of purchase. Should be sent out tomorrow!

The adapter came today. I don't have it right now nor have I seen it, but I'll post a pic of it tomorrow when I work on my wheels.

Maybe this weekend I'll see if it works.
