It sounds like a good deal, but it makes you beholden to your stepdad. What happens if you guys have a falling out, or if you are not doing well in school? Does he take away the Camaro and leave you without wheels? Now if your current truck is in his name as well, then I guess there is not much difference, but if it is not, I would not give him that sort of power. I have always worked for what I drove, and haven't driven one of my parents vehicles since the year after I got my license. I think you value things a lot more if you are working for them, not just freeloading. Just my two cents.
